Here are all the creatures that you're characters cannot be, but you'll want to know about them. N= Non sentient S= sentient. If you'd like to suggest another creature, reply in this post, for I am always going to add more as new things are discovered!
Ice World Ledus-
Kank- A large, hairy, and white humanoids with black eyes that prowl around the waste lands. They hate bright light, heat, and the smell and feel of smoke. They are pure carnivores, and their main diet is the Mirana. They dislike being near humans, and have long sharp teeth.(S)
Mirana- A mammal that roams the wasteland, feeding on small creatures that scurry about. They hold the appearance of a cross between a wildcat and a fox, and dislike loud noises. They are usually white, grey, or black. They tend to avoid humans, and are often fed upon by the Kank. (N)
Huntl- An insect like creature that burrows deep within the ice of the planet. It feeds on dead and rotting flesh, and it hard to find. Males are considered a delicacy, while females are deadly to eat. They hold the appearance of very large beetles with black and green strips on its back. (N)
Forest World Dizîve-
Killan- A large doglike mammal that feeds on humanoids. They have dark shaggy fur, and bright yellow or orange eyes. The females tend to be more aggressive, and if captured when young, they make great pets and guard dogs. (N)
Yak- Very large and very nasty mosquitoes. They usually travel in swarms and 1 single Yak can drain a human in about 5 minutes. Swarms are usually about 50 to 100. They hate smoke, and taste excellent in stew and soup.
Fire World Ungus-
Juyunt- A elemental creature born of lava and flame. They are large, about the size of a small starship. Most of the time, they are docile, but can be provoked easily, and are the protectors of their land. (S)
Flame Naga- A vicious humanoid that feasts upon the flesh of others, they have the lifestyle of bees. They never hunt alone, and have the ability to sent out sonic blasts, which they use to capture and kill most of their prey (S)
Barren World Tuksnesis-
Scorpi- They hold the shape of large scorpions, and live on the small amount of plants that are scattered around the area. They are either yellow or tan, and burrow themselves in sand during the hot days, and come out durning the night (N)
Sand Swallower- Only one has been found, it is actually a massive beast under the sand. All you see, however, is a large, gaping mouth, in which tentacles come out and grab at its prey. The mouth is about 15 meters across, and is filled with jagged teeth.
Ocean World Vanduo-
Oameni- Holding the appearance of mermaids, these rare creatures of legend live in the reefs, holding to the shadows and singing on the nights where the two moons are full.
Tauró- Large sharks that feed off of fish and creatures of the sea. They lurk very deep under the ocean, and come out of large caves quickly, snap up their prey in their large maws, and disappear. Many ships that dive have fallen prey to them.
